We support our customers in making buildings more climate-friendly, more comfortable and more affordable with connected real estate, simple products and high processing and service quality. We provide our customers with efficient, tailored processes and applications for operating IoT infrastructures in real estate, as well as our flexible Enterprise-IoT-Suite, in which we manage data from many millions of sensors into intelligent products and services.

Your mission

We regularly test and evaluate new technologies and software systems for use at beyonnex. This includes tasks such as:

Installing and configuring software in test environments
Extending existing open-source software components
Contributing enhancements back to the upstream community
Developing small-scale software systems for internal use
Collaborating with other teams to assess new technologies

Your teams mission

We design and orchestrate the construction of IT-systems and solutions that effectively support the strategic objectives of beyonnex in terms of adaptability, maintainability, scalability, security, efficiency, and robustness.

What we need from you

You are a matriculated student, preferably in an IT-related field
You enjoy learning new things and aren’t shy about sharing them—whether it’s through docs, slides, or just walking a teammate through your approach
You have knowledge in Golang and its ecosystem
- We’re currently planning several projects that involve extending open-source tools written in Golang
You are curious and willing to learn new technologies
- Our main company language is Kotlin, but we also use Java, Typescript, and Javascript, as well as other languages in special cases
- We run our software on Kubernetes, hosted by AWS. We are a cloud-native company

What we offer you

We offer a modern environment with flat hierarchies and the option to work 100% remotely. If you prefer working on-site, we meet at least once a week at our office in Hamburg.
